So you know I was complaining about those darn exams a couple of months ago?

It's really just a way of calming my nerves. I think.
Tomorrow I sit two exams - I was going to write something interesting, but I can't think of anything interesting to say about them that doesn't take a detour into isotope fractionation, effective dose rates, meteorites, astrometrics and volcanology.

Anyway. Two exams, one day... how hard can it

Yesterday was one of the most interesting days in ages; it was v quiet at the Loch so there wasn't much to do but chat with the assistant manager and the other volunteer, which was interesting in itself.

Just zooming by - was at an astronomy workshop yesterday evening at the Royal Observatory and that was great fun. I shall most likely be doing more. I was also introduced to some truly fab astro web-toys that I shall be spending a lot of time playing with ( Read more... )
